LEAD TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST

1/ THE ROLE

You will work very closely with our high-profile clients and spend time on site, which may include the opportunity to travel outside London and abroad.

We give responsibility for owning projects quickly, so being able to create and execute a plan independently, meticulously and efficiently is expected from the start.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to interact with different audiences, both internal and external, are needed and expected.
2/ YOU ARE

Someone who routinely exceeds expectations.

Capable of writing and delivering presentations to a range of audiences including at CTO/CEO level.

Credible working with senior client stakeholders.

A listener and someone who asks questions that get to the core of a problem.

Calm and confident; you think on your feet and are not ruffled when plans change.

Ready to be practical and turn your hand to the priorities of the moment to get stuff done.

Organised and able to create a plan, report progress and ask for feedback without prompting.
3/ YOU HAVE
-
2-5 years’ experience as a business analyst involved in projects from inception to completion.

Designed improvements to processes featuring both business and technology changes.

An ability to prioritise change by the value it delivers, and experience writing business cases.

An awareness of project planning, tracking and stakeholder management.
-
Excellent MS Excel and good MS PowerPoint skills.

A good degree in a numerical or scientific field.
4/ YOU MIGHT HAVE
-
A background in consulting or experience in a finance, insurance, energy or trading company

Analytics or modelling experience.
-
Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI knowhow.
-
Lean / Operational improvement experience.
-
Exposure to any of SQL, VBA, Python or R.
